In the past few days, many cities have joined, in protesting the state of our economy here in the U.S.. To see this type of thing happen here in our country is unbelievable. It's hard to understand why our elected officials choose to ignore our views and vote against anything The President brings to the table. Could it be that they have been against him from the beginning, thinking that he just doesn't have what it takes to be the commander in chief? Perhaps it's because he wants to tax the wealthiest americans, which happen to be most of the individuals in Congress. Whatever the case may be, it is their responsibility to look out for the best interests of the American people, which isn't being done. Since the economy has been on a downward spiral, unemployment figures continue to be at record levels, more Americans are now middle to lower class, and need Congress, and their state representatives, to look out for their well being. Instead, they are playing games while people struggle to pay their bills. Are we on our way to handle things the way other countries do? With bloodshed and ousting of goverment officials. Recently, Herman Cain said that the citizens of the United States are un-American. It's not that they are un-American, they are just trying to get their voices heard, because our concerns are not being brought forth to Congress the way they should be. Are people un-American just because they are exercising their rights according to the U.S. Constitution. That's a good way to get elected president Mr. Cain, by calling voters un-American.
